We had many wolmanized wooden ones on our homes over the years and could not justify how even the best of the wooden ones rotted and discolored, twisted, and looked terrible after the 2nd year! We wanted something that would last and not need any maintenance but could also withstand a Michigan Winter - the toughest climate possible.
